A gift to the Waterfowl Festival VIP Donor Program helps to ensure the future of wildlife AND affords donors an opportunity to see the Festival in a unique way.

The show begins Thursday for our VIP Guests...

VIP Hospitality Suite at new luxurious location, the historic Inn at 202 Dover, opens Thursday morning for registration and is a welcome spot to relax and enjoy delectables and refreshments throughout the weekend.

Festival Opening at the Armory celebrates the official launch of the 40th annual Waterfowl Festival and honors Hall of Fame inductees; the Federal Duck Stamp winner; Masterpiece Carver, and Masters Gallery artists.

Premiere Night Party festivities at the painting, sculpture and carving galleries provide a "before the show" opportunity to view and purchase from a prime collection of wildlife art. "The Artful Feast" will take you on a 5-stop tour of art venues and features fabulous foods from around the country: Baltimore seafood, New York City's Little Italy, San Francisco's Chinatown, Kansas City barbeque, and desserts from New Orleans French Quarter - a different feast at each location! Socialize with internationally recognized artists and renew old friendships at THE event for our VIP donors.

$500 Drawing - To celebrate our 40th year, we offer our Premiere Night VIPs the chance to win a $500 gift certificate toward the purchase of any artwork from the Tidewater Inn Galleries during the Festival.

Meet David Maass - America's foremost wildfowl painter and our 2010 Featured Master Artist will be present at the Academy Art Museum with original artwork and giclee prints.

And the White Glove Treatment continues throughout the weekend...

Priority Entry Badges to all Festival galleries, shops, pavilions and events and the use of special entrances at the most popular ones

An Exclusive View at selected galleries and shops each day before the doors open to the general public gives VIPs another chance to view and purchase privately:

Tidewater Galleries
Thursday 1 to 3 p.m.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9 to 10 a.m.

Buy, Sell, Swap Decoy Gallery
Friday only 9 to 10 a.m.

The Waterfowl Festival has invested over $5 million in wildlife conservation. All proceeds from the Waterfowl Festival VIP Donor Program are designated to fund habitat, education and research projects related to waterfowl and wildlife conservation.

Your $$$ make it possible for the Waterfowl Festival to:

  • Restore valuable habitat for waterfowl and wildlife
  • Preserve rivers and streams in the Chesapeake watershed
  • Protect ever shrinking undeveloped lands
  • Promote kids' awareness of the natural world around them
